MMRA
adds Second Ultrasound Machine and Welcomes Sue Wilson
We are pleased to announce that ultrasonographer Sue Wilson
has joined the ultrasound staff of our 211 Crapo Imaging Center
and that we have added a second ultrasound machine in order
to continue our commitment to provide timely, efficient, and
technologically advanced service to our patients and referring
clinicians.
Sue
comes to us from CMCH with more then ten years of experience
and will be working with sonographer, Kathy Cole. Both Sue
and Kathy are certified ultrasound technologists by the
ARDMS.
The
new Siemens Sonoline G40 ultrasound machine is in addition
to our existing Medison Sonace 8000 three-dimensional ultrasound
and a Unextis Multilab NIT arterial unit. This expansion
was necessary to meet increased demand from you, our referral
base, and to support our new vascular ultrasound services.
During
the past year we have increased the scope of ultrasound
services to include ultrasound guided procedures such as
PICC line placement, ultrasound guided laser varicose vein
therapy, sclerotherapy and ultrasound guided biopsy. Our
vascular lab now includes noninvasive arterial testing (NIT)
for patients with peripheral vascular disease, evaluation
for Raynauds, carotid doppler, renal doppler, venous services
for evaluations and treatment of varicose veins, evaluation
of deep venous thrombosis, vein mapping and dialysis fistula
evaluation and therapy.
Our
Imaging Center
is the only site in Mid Michigan to offer 3D fetal ultrasound.
We are also this area’s only provider of ultrasound
guided endovascular laser varicose veins therapy. We continue
our commitment to expand services for the convenience of
you and your patients and appreciate your continued trust
and referrals.
Enclosed
is a sample list of procedures offered at our imaging center.
In most cases we can schedule your patient’s exam
the same or next business day. As always, feel free to contact
us with questions about these and any other services.
