MRI
(MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING)
MRI
is a powerful tool for diagnosis of a variety of conditions.
MRI utilizes a powerful magnet and radio waves rather than
x-rays to take pictures of the inside of your body. In many
cases the images are much more detailed than CAT scans or
ultrasound.
The
MRI at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot is permanent, not a mobile
system and is in a very open large room. Manufactured by
Siemans it is one of the most advanced systems in Mid-Michigan.
